Cenicafe 1
A high-yield, disease-resistant variety developed by Colombia's national coffee research center, Cenicafé. A cross between Caturra and Timor Hybrid, it resists leaf rust and coffee berry disease while delivering an excellent specialty cup profile.
San Bernardo
A rare dwarf of the heirloom Typica variety, first discovered in Guatemala and now prized in Colombia's regions. Known for exceptional quality, it consistently scores between 85.5 and 87.5 in specialty evaluations.
Castillo
Developed by Colombia's research institute Cenicafé as a cross between Caturra and the Timor Hybrid. Introduced in 2005, it is now the most widely grown variety in Colombia, valued for its high yields and resistance to coffee leaf rust (la Roya).
Caturra
A highly sought-after natural dwarf mutation of the classic Bourbon coffee variety. Originating in Brazil, it became a staple across Colombia, prized by specialty roasters for its sweet, citrusy cup profile and its bright, clean, balanced acidity.
