BOSA COLOMBIAN CRAFTS.

Artisans and their associations in Ráquira have stood out over the years for preserving tradition, turning the city into one of the most important artisan centers in Colombia.
The production of these pieces involves the entire family and is not only an economic activity, but also an integral part of the life and culture of the community. The use of the natural resources of the area is ideal to produce high-quality ceramics and contributes to the development of the local economy, increasing the income for many Ráquira families whom we pay directly by promoting fair trade.
In 2020, the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC) of Colombia declared the protection of the Denomination of Origin “Cerámica Artesanal de Ráquira Colombia” for having utilitarian and decorative purposes, characteristic finishes and traditional styles.
