CATURRA Variety of Coffee
Caturra is a coffee variety for black coffee drinkers. Caturra has a distinctive citrus acidity and balance with a slight sweetness with and pleasant cacao notes.
This Colombian coffee beans variety was originally developed in Brazil and later brought to the Colombian mountains. Like many varieties of coffee, is grows well in Colombia as well.
Caturra coffee beans are rounder than those of Typica or Borbón, with high ends and depressed centers. The coffee has the flavor notes of citrus, honey and maple.
